Admissions information for parents
At EOTAS Swindon, admissions are made by referral from your child’s mainstream school. We work closely with mainstream schools to provide short-term, targeted support designed to help pupils overcome challenges and successfully reintegrate back into their mainstream setting or move on to appropriate next steps.
It is important to understand that EOTAS is a short-term provision, focused on supporting pupils through periods of difficulty, with the aim of helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Once your child has been offered a place at EOTAS, you will receive our admissions packs which provide detailed information to help you understand our provision and what to expect.
-
Admission Pack Part 1 will be completed with you during your induction meeting. This session is an opportunity to discuss your child’s needs, the support we provide, and answer any questions you may have.
-
Admission Pack Part 2 will be given to you to take away for future reference. It contains important information about our policies, procedures, and how we work in partnership with you and your child.
We are committed to working closely with families and mainstream schools to ensure the best outcomes for every pupil.
